Researchers have not paid enough attention to people with disabilities who devote their lives to sports. This work is an attempt to change the situation. We focused on the problems faced by athletes with disabilities, touched on the topic of the Paralympic Games, and thanks to a series of interviews with the Russian champion in boccia and a documentary film with her participation, we got a better understanding of various factors, both positive and negative, which have a significant impact on such athletes.
