Recognition of Media Content

Purpose of the qualification work is to develop system of face recognition. Recognition is meant to be of faces and emotion feedback of students during lessons and events. System needs to be integrated into MIEM Digital infrastructure. As part of this work, the analysis of existing modern analogs of face recognition in education was performed, design of system components was created, and set of appropriate development tools were chosen. As a result, a client-server web application has been developed. The server is a Python program with usage of technology stack of Flask, Celery, Redis, and CUDA. Client application is a browser application in HTML, CSS and JavaScript using the React library. Deployed service recognizes faces on lesson recordings, collects, gives access to, and visualizes results of face and emotion recognition. The scope of the graduation work report is — 46 pages. The number of tables in the paper is 12, the number of illustrations is 15, and the sources used are 28.
