Creation of a Transmedia Online Event. Producer Aspect. Design and Creative Format

The purpose of our graduation paper is to study and apply in practice the methods of creating events of a new format - online-event. We also largely refers to materials on the topic of transmedia production in order to maximize user experience of our creative product. During the work we apply theoretical and empirical methods as well as the method of analysis and synthesis. The research base consists of materials on event-management and transmedia production. The outcome of our paper is the design document and the implemented online-event «Open Day. School of Media» for National Research University Higher School of Economics. In the theoretical note and project note of our paper we consider the trends of the event industry in Russia for the period before the pandemic COVID-19 and during the pandemic itself. Then we analyze specifics of production, directing and promotion of online-event. Furthermore, we study the features of transmedia production and the possibilities of its implementation in our product. The creative part contains the design document as well as the implemented online event. In the conclusion of the paper, we list all the planned and completed works. We also present our vision of the further development of the product and its value for our professional career. Key words: online-event, event-management, transmedia production.
