The influence of the People's Republic of China on the countries of Latin America is growing up every year. If the PRC has been interested in the resources of the region for a long time, now the implementation takes place most often due to foreign direct investment. Now Chinese firms have more and more contracts for the construction of railways, as well as projects related to the extraction of hydropower and minerals. At the same time, China's need for resources provides Latin American companies with a profitable export market. In the master thesis, the main aspects of interaction between countries are analyzed, the results of the investment activities of Chinese corporations are noted, as well as the shortcomings of the active presence of the PRC in Latin America.
