Documentary "Home" (Creative Format)

The graduation project raises the question of historical estates restoration and ownership. Project is made in the documentary film format in the genre of investigative journalism. The author addresses a socially significant problem of the architectural monuments restoration and considers the legal and economic issues. The plot of the film is built on the case of Bykovo estate, located in the city of Ramenskoye in the Moscow region. The Bykovo estate is a well-preserved object of cultural heritage, which is not restored and in an emergency condition. The film also raises the issue of ownership and management of the estate. The authors used both journalistic methods (interviews, searching for contacts of eyewitnesses, reflecting opposing positions on a certain issue) and documentary techniques (observing the hero, creating visual metaphors).
