This work is devoted to superhero film franchises and their place in the modern media space. The methods of studying the topic include: research of the primary source in the form of comics, retrospective and analysis of the cinematic universes according to the analytical model of transmedia. The results of the work will make it possible to identify aspects that positively and negatively affect the development of a film franchise based on a fictional universe. Key words: Cinema franchise, Cinematic Universe, Superheroes, Comics, narrative, composition, design.
