The method of data analysis is case-study of two opposing MSs, Italy and Sweden, which are opposed in the approach of crisis resolution. The results of the research paper show that interstate and institutional participation in resolving the crisis was initially low at the beginning, but later all members of the EU began to interact more actively with each other. The main conclusion is that European integration has not increased. Member states preferred to regulate employment policy independently and delegate not to supranational institutions, but to subnational bodies.
