The German banking system is one of the most organized and stable in the world, but it has not been able to quickly recover from the financial crisis. This causes concern in the global financial sector, as the collapse of the German banking system will greatly affect the global economy. In this regard, the German banking sector is faced with the need to increase competitiveness so that future external economic shocks do not have such an impact on it. Determination of the competitiveness factors of German credit institutions will strengthen their position in the international market and help bring the post-crisis period to an end.
