The Principal Features of Financing of Airlines in Aeroflot Group and International Airlines Group during the COVID-19 Crisis

This paper aims to evaluate the financial tools taken by Aeroflot Group and International Airlines Group during the COVID-19 crisis. In this study, a Factor Analysis was conducted using the collected data, followed by Linear Regressions. The findings of the research demonstrated that both companies relied mostly on state-backed loans, issue share and operating expenses cut. The main findings is that higher liquidity leads to better performance, while the leverage does not have decisive influence.
