The Impact of Innovative Strategies on the Competitiveness of Pharmaceutical Companies (Case of Sanofi and R-Pharm)

This study focuses on the impact of various innovative strategies on the competitiveness of pharmaceutical companies. The topic of increasing the efficiency of R&D in the pharmaceutical industry is especially relevant amid constant epidemiological threats and an aging population. This paper provides an overview of the trends in the pharmaceutical market and the existing drug development strategies that are companies' response to the problem of expiring patent protection of many pharmaceutical products and to the problem of the decreasing productivity of their internal R&D. Statistical analysis methods were used to assess the impact of innovative strategies on pharmaceutical companies.
