Student: Shevtsov Dmitrii

Supervisor: Natalia V. Supyan

Faculty: Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs

Educational Programme: World Economy (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2021

In recent years, interest in social entrepreneurship has been growing in science and business. Unique forms of organizations have begun to appear, integrating the features of, on the one hand, commercial companies pursuing a profit interest, and on the other hand, charitable organizations following their social mission. This type of entrepreneurship is developed to a certain extent all over the world, including in the European Union. However, no empirical study of the impact of social entrepreneurship on the economies of EU countries has been conducted. This means that aspects of social entrepreneurship affecting the economies of EU member states are understudied. The purpose of the study is to address this gap.
