Current Situation of the Regional Museum: Moscow Cases

The study of local lore in Russia, and in particular to the study of local lore in Moscow. The main idea of the work is to trace, as possible, through the broad context of local history, its essence and the main functions and tasks that the local history museum carries in the regions, to try to transfer this experience to the urban space and its features in Moscow, moving on to the topic of local history at the municipal / district level in a large city. The problems of local history museums, changes in their functions, as well as the implementation of local history through cultural institutions are discussed on the example of Moscow museums.
