Mid-90s. Somewhere in the quiet wilderness on the outskirts of a collapsed empire in a small wooden house, upholstered with picket fence and painted with "cheerful" orange enamel, live three generations of" Russian women": a grandmother, a mother and a little girl. In this quiet world, which is not disturbed even by bad news from an old TV, it smells of fresh bread and chicken noodles, you can hear the crowing of roosters, the chirping of almost tame grasshoppers and the rustle of birches near the fence. In this world, everything is good: there is home, there is food, there is love. But somewhere, in the very corner of this idyllic picture, the mother is crying, her back pressed against a birch trunk.
