This paper examines the corpus of philosophical texts by Georges Bataille applying the framework of myth to it, in order to identify possible points of contact between the syncretism of myth, which is understood through the concept of "inner experience" or the experience of meeting with the sacred, and the unity of logos as rational knowledge. This problem is traditionally considered through the relationship of faith and reason and is most developed in theology, rethought by Batay through the prism of archaic traditional beliefs, with an emphasis on the impure sacred, and a negative ontological picture in the secular world after the death of God. Phenomena of heterogeneous reality, capable of taking a person out of discreteness into continuity: sacrifices, eroticism, laughter, etc., become central in the comprehension of "internal experience". In the analysis of texts, a late approach of the hermeneutic phenomenology of myth is used, highlighting the level of understanding and explanation in order to identify the form of transmission and fixation sacred experience on the one hand, and demonstrating how this experience forms the basis of the philosophical concept of the theory of religion and sacred eroticism.
