Regulatory Policy for Digital Transformation of Industry in Russia

The purpose of this study is the identification of features on digital transformation of industry policies in Russia. At the beginning of the work, the key concepts are conceptualized, namely, digital transformation and the Industry 4.0. With political and legal analysis and the case study method, correspondingly, the study of the normative and institutional aspect of the topic and its implementation is carried out. The scientific significance of the study is to understand how institutions for the implementation of public policy in the new policy area – the digital economy-function in practice. The research complements academic discussion with original findings about specificities of Russian public policy on a new economic field example – digital industry formation in contemporary Russia.
