The System and Practice of Dispute Resolution in the WTO: Russian Experience

This work is devoted to the study of the nature of the activities of the Dispute Settlement Body and trade conflicts with the participation of Russia in the framework of the World Trade Organization. The first chapter discusses the concept, objectives, functions, legal framework and principles, as well as the structure and competence of the Dispute Settlement Body. The second chapter of the work contains an analysis of the practice of Russia's participation in trade disputes settled with the help of the Dispute Settlement Body of the World Trade Organization. The work deals with problematic issues of the functioning of the Dispute Settlement Body. Special attention is paid to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the system for resolving trade disputes of the World Trade Organization.
