The Policy of the Russian Federation in Relation to Non-Profit Organizations: Case of Government-Organized Non-Governmental Organizations (GONGOs)

This thesis examines the phenomenon of state-organized non-governmental organizations and the policy towards them in the Russian Federation. The paper uses the case-study method of GONGOs in two regions of the Russian Federation and the state policy towards them. The criteria for determining GONGOs and the distinctive features of the policy towards such organizations were identified.
