Motherhood can be amazing. However, parenting can be a source of extreme stress for the parent. When parents do not have the resources necessary to overcome the stressors associated with raising children, they can develop parental burnout. It is proved that emotional burnout determines aggression towards children, the use of violence in the family and even its disintegration. In comparison with Russia, there are state practices for preventing maternal burnout in the United States and Europe. The results of the study showed that parental burnout is a complex interagency problem. It is important to solve it not only by psychologists, but also by the right institutional environment. Moreover, ignoring this problem has far-reaching consequences, as it can affect the development of the child. Based on the study of the experience of interaction between NGOs and the state, recommendations were developed for the institutionalization of measures to prevent maternal burnout.
