Features of Legal Regulation of Digital Financial Assets

The paper deals with the study of the features of regulating Digital Financial Assets (DFA) relations connected with the introduction into the Russian legal system. The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the active introduction of new objects of the digital space and the rapid development of the digital economy. This paper analyzes modern legislation in order to reveal the main points of implementation digital currency and identify deficiencies of law enforcements. One of the main features of the research is to analyze nature of digital innovations from a legal point of view without addressing for economic and technical issues. The results suggest that the approach to the legal regulation of DFA in Russia requires changes and additions. There are some recommendations to overcome possible risks of legal regulating DFA relations. A comparative legal analysis of international strategies for the legal regulation of digital technology objects was carried out based on the experience of foreign countries.
