"History of Russia" and "Guide for Russian History" by D.I. Ilovaisky (1832–1920): Comparative Historiographical Analysis

This study is devoted to the comparative historiographical analysis of the works of Dmitry Ivanovich Ilovaisky, namely: "The History of Russia" in five volumes and "Guides to Russian History". To achieve this goal, the study analyzes the primary sources written by Ilovaisky, as well as literature that helps to more fully sanctify this issue. The results of this study are of practical importance for identifying the system of representation of historical events that shaped the worldview and perception of history among people of the XVII century.
