The dissertation examines the possibilities of increasing the export potential of the Russian car industry. In the course of the study, the features of the development of export potential, the features of the development of the automotive industry in Russia were considered. The factors and problems of the formation of the competitiveness of the export of the Russian automobile industry were also considered. In the course of the study, the prospects for the development of exports of the Russian automobile industry were determined.
