Corporate Environmental Responsibility and Financial Performance of Firms

For the past 2 decades, climate change has proved the significance of environmental responsibility and concerns have been raised about protecting the environment, especially in China. China is the most populated country in Asia and second worldwide in terms of having organizations. This research tends to look into the impact corporate environmental responsibility (CER) has on the financial performance of firms in China. The data is acquired about the environmental responsibility score and financials of the firms and is used to decide the effect of corporate environmental responsibility on the financials of Chinese firms. The discoveries point that demonstrated that corporate environmental responsibility positively impacts financial performance and helps to improve it. This article demonstrates how CER is affecting financial performance and it proves that the impact is positive and significant. The evaluations after the study are that CER directly affects financial performance. So, the companies with higher environmental scores have better financial performance in China. Finance and environmental responsibility are two distinct topics yet at the same time, they are linked with each other. This article is truly valuable and immediate assistance to any individual who needs to do additionally explore corporate environmental responsibility. It gives a detailed analysis and insights about the relationship CER and financial has with regards to China.
