Problematic Issues of Providing New Evidence in a Criminal Case at the Stage of Appeal Proceedings

This paper analyzes the problem of introducing new evidence at the stage of appeal proceedings in a criminal case, examines the features of appeal proceedings in a criminal case, the subject and limits of the appeal check, presents the features of collecting and evaluating evidence, provides examples from judicial practice illustrating different cases when the need for a full collecting and evaluating evidence, and when not, also suggested possible ways of introducing new evidence.
