The Role of Creative Industries in the Formation and Development of Japanese "Soft Power" in the 21st Century

Modern political communication between states is characterized by a number of features. The roots of these features are lei in the socio-economic development of society at the post-industrial stage, in the development of modern technologies, in globalization’s progress and many other reasons. To meet the modern political, social, and economic reality’s requirements and stay strong in safety issue, states should reorganize the methods of communicating, solving problems, playing on the international arena. New “methodology” of international communication of states and protecting their interests on the international arena is took shape in terms “soft power” and “creative industries”. “Creative industries” is a core element of the “soft power” of any state that promulgate a such strategy. In this regard, the question of studying the influence of Japanese creative industries on the formation and development of the country's "soft power" seems to be very relevant as the determining why such a culturally and historically rich country could not export its creative industries” products.
