In the modern world, especially after the coronavirus pandemic, online shopping has begun to occupy a special place in our lives. In 2021, online shopping has become more popular than ever with contactless shopping and fast home delivery. Much attention began to be paid to online stores, whose profits increased several times. Thanks to this trend, more and more young entrepreneurs are interested in starting their own business and taking a leading place on social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and many others, the choice is quite large. But in order to become a leader in such a field of activity as online sales, you need to remember about the visual component of the social network, the design, design and relevance of the product that the buyer offers to the audience. The first thing that a buyer sees when visiting your page is its design. And even if your product is really well made and will benefit, but your brand is poorly designed and the design of the company is outdated or poorly made, then there is a high probability that the buyer will close the tab with your page and find another store with a well-made identity and order the product from him. even if the quality of their product is lower than yours. I am an entrepreneur and owner of my own online store and know from my own experience how important it is to pay attention to visual communication and branding in order to make high sales. The most important question that I ask myself is: "Where to get inspiration for new collections?" To find the answer to this question, I delved deeper into the culture of Ancient China, conducted visual research, put together a large reference board, researched the competitors' market and did test sales for several years. Visual research "Fictional Creatures in Chinese Mythology" helped me delve into the culture of the original state in detail and find the answer to the main question. The philosophy of the brand of my store is that every person is unique, and you should not adapt to the stereotypes imposed by society, the most important thing is to be yourself. To do this, I developed a large number of different characters, very different from each other, in order to show my target audience through visual communication that they are not alone and that it is cool to be different!
