The best beach holiday and unforgettable resort aesthetics will forever remain in every person’s memory and are increasingly becoming an inspiration for the creation of fashion collections. The aim of this project is to create a fashion collection while exploring beach culture through photography. The research is based on the analysis of the works of photographers of the XX-XXI centuries, working with a beach topic and resort aesthetics. The work of photographers allows to identify and define different points of view and attitudes towards beach culture around the world. Photography as a source that conveys real events and images of people, or reality is supplemented by the author's idea or his personal attitude. At the same time, clothing is a source of expression of one's own perception, memories, and emotions. The author also uses the observation method of research on the chosen beach area in order to draw more accurate conclusions about the components of the resort aesthetics and to create content for the future fashion collection. Moreover, the author’s research gives an opportunity to compare the local beach and vacationers’ images with the internationals. The research has shown that vibrant beach and vacation vibes are becoming more and more relevant in the modern fashion industry. Many designers and artists use in their works not only objects from everyday resort life but also subjects of lower culture, represented by souvenirs and beach essentials. Beach objects that remind us of our best vacation are now becoming so easily integrated into the new fashion context and are showing themselves as a part of fashion collections. Inside clothes, they also become part of our daily lives. Furthermore, they become a reminder of the best beach holiday when our «Life is a beach». Thus, each person has their own beach memories, which now are increasingly becoming the basis for the creation of a fashion collection. However, memories are not the physical part of the resort aesthetics, it can shape your view of the beach and influence expectations of your next holiday. The visualization of the future clothes is entirely dependent on the received memories and emotions, reflected in everything starting from colors to shapes. The diploma project consists of a fashion collection, represented by seven looks, and an additional series of essential items for the beach. The items will complement the collection and represent the basic resort package.
