The aim of the study is to study visually the genres of cinema and computer games, which demonstrate the aesthetics of war and military uniforms. At all times, people have imagined the future, both in a positive and negative way. The objectives of the study are to consider the direction and trends in the visual creation of costumes in the period of the 20th and 21st centuries. The field of study is the uniform, protective suits, as well as exoskeletons. Disarmament and military conflicts are an acute social issue of our days, which leads to the fact that many designers work with this topic, offer author's statements in their collections. Among them are such as Yeezy, Sacai, Alyx. The sources of this research were films of the genres of action films, comic films, and fantasy films. In computer games, the genres are shooters, stealth action, survival, metroidvania, role-playing games, action-rpg, jrpg. For many years, military uniforms have been used as references in the creation of products of famous designers, in the same work, the display of military uniforms is used.
