Educational Programme: Fashion (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2021

The object of this study is the phenomenon of visualization based on the works of the most famous representatives of this industry. The creativity of each of the presented figures can be viewed under the influence of various factors — the national context, the scope of the main activity, the systematization of data and a special technique of reproduction, synesthetic disorder and mechanical influence. The purpose of the study is to derive from the results of their activities certain methods and techniques for converting sound into a visual component (symbols, color, shape, texture, brightness), using a detailed analysis of existing works and works at the intersection of the musical and visual components due to the usual techniques and solutions. The relevance of the work is in the continuous blurring of the boundaries and fluidity of the spheres of activity and various arts, in order to create the latest cross-methods of interpreting information and creating a completely new, previously unused technique. Problems in the modern context can be called the irreversible use of technical innovations, instead of the usual techniques, which blurs the historical layer and does not allow it to remain relevant. The research area includes already processed musical works and sounds for understanding the individual handwriting in the works of each of the artists. As a result of the research, various ways of interpreting audio tracks using graphics will be revealed. Using this approach and the techniques derived in the course of the study, it will be possible to visualize music in fashion design and develop a diploma collection. The work done will allow you to personalize the circle of consumers and update my work for the target audience.
