Features of the Legal Regulation of the Labor of Teachers

The final qualification work is devoted to the features of the legal regulation of the labor of teachers and special attention there is paid to the positions of other teaching staff, in particular, schoolteachers. The background of the research topic is based on the special status of teachers, the specifics of their activity and its regulation, as well as on the lack of a proper number of comprehensive studies on the topic. The author analyses the provisions of legislative and other normative legal acts, judicial practice and doctrine concerning the labor of teachers, and identifies the gaps in its legal regulation. Besides the introduction and conclusion, the paper includes four chapters that reveal the features of the legal status of teachers, the procedure of concluding and terminating an employment contract with them, the procedure of certification, the distribution of working time and rest time, and payment for their work. At the end of the research, there are conclusions, which emphasize the existence of controversial issues in the regulation of labor of this category of workers and indicate the need for their resolution.
