In volumetric animation, due to time-lapse shooting, each puppet or plasticine character begins to play for the camera. He lives in the frame. But in addition to the main characters, around whom the main action in the cartoon is tied, there is also the reality surrounding this character. And therefore scenography is used to create a visual-plastic image of the space around the main character.
