Tax Consequences of Business Digitalization: Trends, Mechanisms, Features

The digitalization process considered to be one of the main drivers of economical growth. New complex business structures and models that meet the challenges of a rapidly changing (turbulent) external environment are being created. Due to the digitalization process companies have become a great chance to enter the foreign markets with less costs than even before. Such a trend means great tax challenges for countries and an arising complexity in a tax collection process. The main purpose of the research is to identify the specifics of the interaction of key stakeholders in taxation of the digital economy in Russia, as well as to identify the main concepts for the development of forms of international taxation of the digital economy. The impact of the digital economy on business taxation, tax accounting and tax administration will be described.
