This work is a study of the impact of IT systems on the performance of a company. The paper presents the construction of a regression model, in which the following indicators were used as variables: return on equity, proceeds from sales, profitability of sales, profit before taxes and interest, asset turnover, fixed assets, financial leverage, the fact of implementation of several types of IT systems. The model used data from companies in the Russian oil and gas sector. A model was also built with more variables but fewer observations. The results of the study partially confirmed the hypothesis about the positive impact of the introduction of IT systems by oil and gas companies.
