Freedom of Expression in Cyberspace: Practice of International Judicial Bodies

The paper is focused on the analysis of the international courts’ decisions regarding the protection of the freedom of expression on the Internet. Thus, the research examines relevant decisions of the European Court of Human Rights, Inter-American Court of Human Rights and other international bodies formulating applicable rules for the effective protection of the right. The purpose of this paper is to review recent decisions of the international judicial bodies related to the freedom of expressing opinions in the Cyberspace and to create a set of rules applicable at the international level.
