Examination of Factors Influencing the Decision to Purchase Software for IP Video Surveillance

This paper presents a study of the factors of consumer behavior when choosing software for IP video surveillance. The research program includes a theoretical overview of the methodological aspects of making a purchase decision by consumers, as well as the features of the analysis of the external environment and competitors. The analytical part includes an analysis of the market and the external environment affecting the company, as well as conducting a qualitative and quantitative study of the factors of choice among users through a series of in-depth semi-structured interviews and surveys, including building a logistic regression model. The practical part of the research consists of defining a consumer profile, building a customer journey map, identifying consumer “pains”, and developing a 5 program to improve points of contact with customers in the process of making a purchase decision.
