Freedom of Speech in the US: Evolution and Judicial Interpretation

This paper will attempt to identify the characteristics and evolution of the freedom of speech in the United States from the moment the first English colonies in North America emerged to the present, as well as analyse the existing doctrine of the US Supreme Court on the admissibility of restrictions on freedom of speech.
