Comparative analysis of the Legal Framework for Surrogacy in Russia and Abroad

The problem of infertility is extremely important in an industrial society, which makes the availability of surrugacy has passed the way from scientific developments to the emergence of agencies and programs for the provision of relevant services, it has a complex nature and raises a number of medical, social, ethical and moral issues for both Russian and international community. The demand for this kind of services is growing both in the Russian Federation and foreign countries, which is why the problems of legal regulation of surrogacy in the Russian Federation and abroad are discussed, a comprehensive analysis of the legislation is made, similarities and differences in the legal regulation of surrogacy in the Russian Federation and European countries are revealed, and ways to improve the legal framework in this area are suggested.
