Non-standard Employment and Labor Law

The general purpose of the project is to consider the specifics of non-standard employment and its legal regulation. This study is focused on improving the understanding of non-standard employment phenomenon as well as on providing a guidance on measures to support The Decent Work Agenda. It aims to supply an objective, evidence-based overview of trends and consequences of non-standard employment around the world and particularly in Russia. To achieve the objectives of the study, the author analyzed the development, reasons, trends and impact of standard and non-standard employment. The study consists of three parts: the legal status of standard and non-standard employments forms, the impact of non-standard employment on labor market and the solutions for minimizing the risks of non-standard employment. The main result of the study is to create a list of recommendations for improving legislation in this area.
