Psychoanalysis of the Immigration Phenomenon

The study examines the theoretical and practical problems of psychoanalysis of the phenomenon of immigration. The work provides a classification of psychoanalytic concepts that explain the influence of immigration on the behavior and psychological state of an immigrant at different stages of acculturation. The paper presents practical recommendations for conducting psychoanalytic counseling for immigrants. The study analyzed the psychodynamic causes of sexual-aggressive behavior towards British women by Sudanese immigrant Mustafa Said, the protagonist of Tayeb Salih's novel "The Season of Migration to the North." The study has 132 pages.
