Legal Regulation of the Dominant Position and Determination of the Geographical Boundaries of the Commodity Market

The research project is devoted to the comparison of the antimonopoly legislation of the Russian Federation and the United States in terms of the regulation of the dominant position of an economic entity in the commodity market and the procedure for determining the geographical boundaries of the commodity market. The study determines the legal nature, the dominant position of the economic entity, and methods for determining the geographical boundaries of the commodity market. The author also evaluates the effectiveness of the current method of determining the geographical boundaries of the commodity market, evaluates the approach of the legislator to determining the dominant position of an economic entity. The practical significance of this study will be to supplement the existing research, as well as to offer solutions to the identified problems.
