Choice Factors of Export-Oriented Entrepreneurial Activity: Cross-Country Analysis

Annotation This paper examines the influence of various factors on early export-oriented entrepreneurial activity. This paper also provides a comparative analysis of rich and poor countries. As indicators of export-oriented entrepreneurship, the following are selected: innovativeness of the goods provided, opportunities, fear of failure, entrepreneurial experience, higher education, wages and corruption. The study used individual and aggregate level variables. Among the indicators listed above, the indicator of the level of gender, age, acquaintance with an entrepreneur, the presence of broadband Internet per 100 people was also used. The sample consists of 17492 observations. Based on the latest data available from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor and other business sources. Our sample for 2017 contains more than 54 countries. Through econometric analysis, a part of the hypotheses was confirmed and that the above indicators are for export-oriented entrepreneurial activity.
