Comparative Research of Russian and Spanish Non-Verbal Communication

The final qualification work consists of an introduction, the main part consisting of two chapters, a conclusion, and a list of sources used, which contains 46 sources. The volume of the final qualification work is 86 sheets. In the introduction, the relevance of the chosen topic is explained, the goal is set, the tasks are set, the object and subject of the study are determined, and the research methods are selected. The topic of the WRC is relevant since no attempts have yet been made to use cinema for a comparative analysis of nonverbal communication between Russian and Spanish cultures. Russian Russian Nonverbal communication The purpose of the WRC is to conduct a comparative analysis of Russian and Spanish nonverbal communication using the multimedia corpus (MURCO) of the national corpus of the Russian language. Russian Russian nonverbal communication: to define nonverbal communication and to consider the place of multimodal communication in modern science; to determine the types and significance of components of nonverbal communication in intercultural nonverbal communication; to consider the multimedia corpus (MURCO) of the national corpus of the Russian language (NCRL) as a tool for the study of nonverbal communication; to analyze Russian nonverbal communication on the example of the film "Operation Happy New Year"; to analyze Spanish nonverbal communication on the example of the film "Olmos and Robles".»; to conduct a comparative analysis of Russian and Spanish nonverbal communication on the example of the films "Operation Happy New Year" and "Olmos and Robles". The object of the research of the WRC is Russian and Spanish nonverbal communication. The subject of the WRC is, in particular, gesticulation in Russian and Spanish communication on the example of modern cinema. The methods used in this WRC are methods of contextual and comparative analysis, methods of systematization and sampling of information, as well as a descriptive and analytical method based on MURKO. The first chapter is a comparative understanding of the concept of nonverbal communication, its components, and units in Russian and Spanish science. In addition, the first chapter examines the work of E. A. Grishina, the creator of the Multimedia Russian Corpus (MURKO), since this study relies on the characteristics of the gesture presented in MURKO for the analysis of the material. The second chapter is a study of gestures in the broad sense of the word in modern Russian and Spanish cinema and subsequent comparative analysis of gestures in Spanish and Russian. In the second chapter of this study, a quantitative analysis of deictic, decorative, corporate, pejorative, regulatory, rhetorical, conditional, physiological, and etiquette gestures, as well as gestures-speech actions found in the selected films, is carried out. Further, a comparative analysis was carried out according to the criterion "the number of uses of a gesture with a certain meaning", and also the most frequent gesture characteristic of each of the selected paintings was identified. In the course of the study, it was found that the quantitative use of gestures in the Spanish material exceeds the use of gestures in the Russian material, such a conclusion is made on the basis of the following data. According to the search results in MURKO, the analysis of this study includes 656 gestures found in Russian films. In the Spanish film, there are 1253. Most of the gestures found in both films refer to gestures-speech actions. In conclusion, the results of the study are summarized.
