Bank Datamart Development for Regular Reporting

Over the past decades, high-quality work with data has become an integral part of any large business, in particular, banks. Having a complex internal architecture of integrated systems: many ERP systems, OLAP cubes, etc. - for competent business conduct, banks need to do various top-level business analyzes, for example, the quality of sales of certain products, compliance with SLA for the transportation of bank cards. The key point in carrying out the above analyzes is the consistency and quality of the data. To meet these needs in the 1980s, the concept of “Data Warehouse” was coined. The purpose of this graduate work is to develop an applied data mart for the formation of regulatory reporting in Rosfinmonitoring. The object of this research is a Russian bank, which is included in the TOP-10 banks of the Russian Federation. The subject of the research is the requirements for the regulatory reporting provided to Rosfinmonitoring and the data marts required for its implementation. The first part of the study will analyze the subject area, in particular the history and essence of the concept of "Data warehouse". In the second part of the work, the analysis of the architecture of the Data Warehouse formed in the bank will be carried out, the preparation of a model of an applied mart for the implementation of reporting. In the final part, the practical implementation of the goal of this work will be described.
