The Problem of Ensuring Information Security at the Processing of Personal Data in the Civil Aviation Sector

This work is devoted to the study of legal problems of ensuring information security at the processing of personal data in the civil aviation sector. As part of the study, an analysis of the international, Russian and industry regulatory framework of ICAO / IATA on the exchange and protection of personal data was carried out, as a result of which a list of requirements was identified that an airline as a personal data operator must meet when performing domestic and international passenger air transportation. Using the example of the investigated personal data information system, an analysis was made of the compliance of the applied measures for the protection of personal data with the identified requirements.
