According to the Gouldings (1978), the strength lies in the Client. The question remains: how psychologist can help customers to believe that it's true. Like coach's task is to highlight the strengths of the coachee for realizing his potential, can a psychologist emphasize the client's existing resources for their inner work? These questions are at the heart of this work, as well as some research questions. We can admit a global hypothesis that relying on their internal resources, the client in therapy will be able to more easily meet internal changes. However, in order to test this hypothesis, we need to understand what resources are. After all, this concept has many interpretations and definitions, while in transactional analysis this concept is not disclosed at all. Analyzing the topic of resources, we turn to the works of both russsian scientists (for example, N.E. Vodopyanova, T.Yu. Ivanova, V.A.Petrovsky ) and foreign ones ( S. Hobfall ). Since the word "resources" can be understood as a large number of conditions (both material and non-material), we will narrow this concept to resources that cover the needs in relationships. This decision is primarily associated with the key position of the work of a psychologist: his task is, first of all, to help the client break out of scenario patterns, establish and maintain contact with themselves and other people. «Beyond Empathy» authors Richard G. Erskine , Janet P. Morsund , and Rebecca L. Trautmann write, "Psychological dysfunction, on the other hand, arises from relationship failure — the cumulative experience of unmet relationship needs." While considering this topic, we will rely on the work of Richard G. Erskine . And it is also important for us to find out if there are differences between the resources of different personality types. To answer this question, we will rely on the Personal Adaptation Model described by Vann Joins and Ian Stewart . We have chosen this model, since it allows to diagnose personality adaptation and understand its features in a matter of time, literally from the first meeting with the client, without "finding out the anamnesis", but only by observing the behavior. The aim of the study is to establish a correlation between the resources for fulfilling the needs in relationships and personal adaptations of the model of Vann Joins and Ian Stewart. The general theoretical hypothesis of the research : there is a connection between the personal adaptations of the model of Vann Joins and Ian Stewart and the preferred resources for fulfilling the need for relationships. theoretical and methodological basis for the research is model of personal adaptation ( in . Joins and And . Stewart ), the concept of need for relationship (R. Erskine ), model of resources (Petrovsky VA). The practical significance of the study lies in expanding knowledge and diagnostic tools that are available within the framework of psychologist. The master's thesis consists of an introduction, two chapters, conclusions, a list of references, annexes. Keywords : personal resources, need for relationship, personal adaptations, resources
