Nowadays, more and more people are involved in cross-cultural interaction. Cross-cultural business communication is one of the most common and complex type of communication among people in society, without which it would be impossible to interact in the field of economic, legal, diplomatic, trade and administrative relations. It is generally accepted that cultural factors act as invisible barriers in international business communications. Understanding cultural differences is one of the most important skills that students need to develop in order to have a competitive advantage in international business. However, this topic still requires further research, as the culture and language are constantly changing and being supplemented. The present study aims at investigating how to identify the most distinctive features of English and Spanish business cultures for the formation of students' communicative and linguistic competence. Using contextual and comparative analysis, this article examines the comparison of two business cultures Spain and England. The results of the study can be used in the development of educational curricula for foreign language education programs.
