Automation of the Decision-Making Process Using BI Tools

Business Intelligence (BI) is defined as a generic term that includes applications, infrastructure, and best practices that enable information to be accessed and analyzed to improve and optimize solutions and performance. The use of business intelligence improves the quality and efficiency of management decisions, and also helps to manage business processes, which leads to an increase in the company's competitiveness. The work analyzes the stages of the decision-making process and business intelligence and proposes an architectural solution for combining these processes into an agile methodology, within which methods and BI tools are described at each stage of the process, steps are proposed for the participants in the process. Also, practical business cases for the implementation of this architecture in various business segments with their own specificity of data and information systems have been worked out.
