In this research, the possibilities of using cinema and film therapy in the framework of psychological counseling were considered, namely, the influence of scenes of unconditional acceptance in family cinema on the viewer's self-acceptance. The aim of this work was to study the phenomenology of the influence of scenes of unconditional acceptance in family films on the self-acceptance of the viewer's personality. To implement the above-mentioned goal, a qualitative research method was chosen - semi-structured in-depth interviews, transcribed into text by means of transcription, were analyzed according to A. Georgi's descriptive phenomenological analysis. The central task of the empirical study was to discover and study the experience of living of self-acceptance of respondents in connection with watching scenes of acceptance on the example of family cinema. A qualitative approach to the study of the influence of watching scenes of unconditional acceptance on self-acceptance of the personality through the subjective experiences of the viewers themselves made it possible to determine the internal structure, the structure of this phenomenon through the description of the largest invariant connection of meanings. The structure included 12 components, divided into 3 blocks: facilitating conditions for the phenomenon of self-acceptance after viewing scenes of unconditional acceptance, a description of the phenomenon itself, post-effects of viewing scenes of unconditional acceptance. The obtained data of empirical research allowed creating a model of the phenomenology of the viewer's self-acceptance after watching scenes of unconditional acceptance in family cinema.
