In this paper, we develop a Russian-language original questionnaire for assessing the authenticity of a person based on the concept of modern existential analysis. To compile the primary points of the questionnaire, a phenomenological analysis of artistic and cinematic works was conducted, a theoretical and methodological analysis of literature in existential psychology was considered, and an expert assessment was conducted. The primary questionnaire was launched to analyze the factor structure together with three other questionnaires for further testing. Based on the calculations, the internal structure of the final questionnaire was approved, and the convergent, discriminant, and self-evident validity was checked. The final questionnaire for assessing the authenticity of a person consists of 24 statements related to six subscales: independence in actions, contact with oneself, harmony with oneself, sincerity and honesty, self-identity/ self-alienation, self-realization. The data presented in this paper indicate the high reliability and validity of the scales of the questionnaire for assessing authenticity. The questionnaire needs further validation and differentiation of norms.
