Background: The competence of fast and precise business analysis is becoming a key business success factor. There is a wide range of essential technologies that help business analysts to operate with data, however, one of the most convenient instruments to visualize data are Business Intelligence tools, which are suitable even for beginners. Objectives: This paper provides an overview of the Business Intelligence dashboards system implementation process for the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. The derivations, obtained by using BI-analytics, will allow the museum to improve its business strategy. Methods: The requirements for future BI-system were gathered by conducting semi-structured interviews with senior management and compilation “User Stories” from ordinary museum employees. The development of the BI-system portal was accomplished in Microsoft Power BI. Anticipated results: As a result of the development a single analytics portal with different interactive dashboards based on ticket and CRM databases should be designed. The reports presented on this interactive portal may be reconfigured by the user by period, scale or analyzed entities. Conclusion: Overall, the Business Intelligence tools help business analysts to structure the organization’s raw data into visual charts and graphs. Some behavioral patterns and insights have already been revealed at the phase of creating a prototype BI-system, and by using the complete system, the drawbacks of the museum’s business strategy may be solved.
