On the other hand, there is a lot of criticism based on the same criteria. This paper is devoted to the network participation in the process of film selection for state funding by the Cinema Fund, which can be called one of the most powerful drivers of industry development today. Paper considers aspects such as the positions of the participants in the competition for subsidies in the context of their success during it, various types of trust between the contestants and decision-makers and economic reliability as a characteristic of actors, confirmed by their involvement in the network. The results of the paper allow to conclude about the contribution of competing social networks to the regulation of financing of the Russian film industry.
